Were there spontaneously a week ago on a stopover. Got a table straight away. We were extremely satisfied, very good prices, no savings on ingredients and super nice conditions. Can just be recommended.

An Italiano style in oberrammergau

Got a pizza and everything was possible. Half salami and half tono, no problem. Good service and very very friendly staff. Recommended!!!

Stayed as a group in Oberammergau for five days. After a short research, we became aware of this pizzaria, because according to Google it had the best rating. The owner has his own way, which you have to understand, but by no means unfriendly. Small restaurant where you should reserve in advance. Pizza 5/5 stars. Starter 5/5 stars. Price 5/5 stars. Salad 3/5 stars. Gnocchies 3/5 stars. In total 4/5 and a clear recommendation if you order the pizza. A little tip, the extra garlic is excellent and refines the pizza. The evening after with the woman probably not.

Small, cozy Italian restaurant. Food very tasty. If it weren't for Oberammergau, where that is somehow standard, I would deduct a star because I couldn't pay with a card ...

A small but very cute restaurant, in connection with very delicious pizzas. The Al Castagno will certainly inspire us many more times! Highly recommended!

We used this restaurant four times during our ten night stay which must say something. The food is tasty and reasonably priced at around €10 a head. Furnishings are basic but there is a nice feel to the place as it is used by locals and visitors alike. There are not many tables so can be difficult to get one at peak times. Note that like many places in Oberammergau they don't take card payments of any kind so make sure you have enough cash.

Good pizza for a good price. A lot of the other places in town are pricer. Despite the limited seating this place is worth it. Recommend going a bit early to get a seat.

The restaurant is not so big (limited number of tables), but offers a great variety of food. My seafood risotto was super delicious, but the pizza was a bit too salty. All in all, it was a good experience.

Very friendly staff, pizzas are big and well occupied. Price / performance is right. We were told that the pizzas are cut (we ordered pizzas to take away) - was not the case with us now, but there is no star deduction. We recommend!

The food here is undeniably great. The service is wierd and I witnessed rudeness. I was asked if I had a reservation. It was 4pm, most tables were empty and they asked no other customers...I am a white Caucasian so it wasn't a racist thing. ..that was wierd. The waiter was very abrupt with us for no reason and the other waiter actually pushed another older woman lady customer in the shoulder as he walked passed her. Would I return ? Probably not despite the food and prices being so good. My husband had lasagne and I had canneloni.

Tiny place. 3 tables max! Smelled great, but you must be the early bird to get the seat.

I agree with the previous review where this restaurant depends on the person serving you. Ours was the worst you could get. The first look we got was bad enough to send us running out. We should have left there and then. That was our mistake. No need to comment on the service we got after that. Don't go after 8.30 pm you will only be treated like a criminal. The food is average.

The food wasn't bad. The experience depends on the server you get. The first server was borderline rude. The server that relieved him though was friendly. This was the first time we ate in and the second time we ordered from this restaurant.

Ordering here was a bit of a challenge, even with a German friend. The food is excellent though, with the four-cheese pizza being possibly the best I've ever had (the addition of basil leaves under the cheese makes for a flavour unlike any other) Prices are also reasonable given the quality and location.
